Asakheni Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2003 as a consulting engineering practice, primarily providing civil and structural engineering design, documentation and co-ordination services to projects in the built environment.
The principal focus of the work undertaken by the firm is in the commercial property development. The company has implemented an in-house training programme for graduate technicians.

Delivery of Asakheni’s projects in accordance with this system earned the company ISO 9001:2000 certications in the second year of our existence
Our Quality Management System was audited by Dekra in December 2005 and Asakheni was highly commended by them as“an exemplary small enterprise well managed and has a very eective QMS suited for its size, structure and business.
Our Technology
Asakheni s technical documentation is based on a 3D computer model from which its design and
documentation is generated. This ensures that all documentation is tied back to a single source – the model, minimizing duplication and the risk of error and greatly enhancing the design co-ordination process. 2D drawings are extracted from the model. Modelling is done using Microstation, CAD software and Revit.
